GENERAL ASSEMBLY DAY = Taking Action for Kids!
Join us for a morning in Richmond to advocate for the education, health, and well-being of students!
We will start our day near capitol square with a power breakfast with our Legislators and then break-out into smaller groups to watch sub-committee meetings and meet with delegates and senators. Virginia PTA will receive a warm welcome at the start of the General Assembly session, so, you may like to plan to watch some of the General Assembly in session from the House or Senate gallery before you head home.
All participants will receive a 2020 Advocacy day button and your group meeting lead will receive a folder of materials you can leave with your legislator.
Free! Advocacy is at the core of our association and supported by your membership dues.
