Child Advocate of the Year Awards

Outstanding, inspiring advocacy work is happening in school communities across the Commonwealth all of the time.

We want to recognize the advocacy work that has positively affected your community, your local school board policies, or state legislation and regulatory policy.

Please consider nominating an outstanding youth or individual PTA advocate, elected official, local unit PTA, or council PTA that has done great advocacy work to support the academic success, health and welfare of students.  Awardees will be recognized at the Virginia PTA Annual Meeting.

You can nominate yourself!

Although not necessary, special consideration will be given to nominees whose efforts included an educational or learning component for PTA members or the community-at-large.
