Commonwealth MembershipThe Commonwealth PTA Membership is an honorary annual membership that enables superintendents, legislators, school board members, elected officials, school staff, parents, and individual community members to publicly share their support for all parents and schools working together to support the academic success, health and well-being of all students.
When you purchase a Commonwealth PTA members you will receive a welcome letter and membership card in the mail. We will also list your name below, and in our Annual Meeting program as one of the more than 130,000 members across Virginia who believe in the mission of PTA.
A Commonwealth Membership is honorary and does not provide voting rights, but does enable you to access any membership discounts provided by partners of Virginia PTA. Our membership year is July 1 to June 30.
Your membership is a considered a donation to Virginia PTA and supports the Board of Directors approved annual budget which includes funding our Virginia PTA Scholarship program, local unit and volunteer impact awards, reflections student art contest awards and celebration event, our annual meeting, and other technical governance support and family engagement work provided by Virginia PTA for our more than 900+ PTAs across Virginia.
