Givebacks (formerly called MemberHub) is an online relationship management tool and phone app designed to help you run your PTA. Virginia PTA provides Givebacks to all local units and councils free of charge!
Families in your school can use the following features in Givebacks:
- School family directory
- School calendar
- School store
- Sign-ups for all school activities in one place
- Classroom Hubs that allow families to share pictures, brainstorm together, and ask questions
- Room Parent management features
- Access to each family’s PTA membership card
- Giveback offers that help families save money on gift cards and family services while also donating to your PTA
- A single login that allows families to see their PTA-related information across multiple classes or schools

- Set up an online PTA store on Givebacks to sell memberships and spirit wear, collect donations, and conduct fundraisers.
- Create sign-ups for events, volunteer opportunities, or donations.
- Communicate with families through newsletters, texts, and calendar reminders.
- Host a website with easy-to-use templates and drag-and-drop customization.
- Use Givebacks’s robust fundraising platform for raffles, sweepstakes, auctions, crowdfunding, and other events and projects.

Streamline your annual submissions to Virginia PTA by doing the following in Givebacks:
- Provide contact information for your incoming PTA officers (and update it at any time).
- Submit your membership list and pay your PTA’s dues to the Virginia PTA and National PTA with one click.
- Access organizational information about your PTA.
- Submit confirmation that your annual IRS Form 990 has been submitted.
- Submit confirmation that your Annual Financial Review has been completed and approved by your General Membership.
Getting Started
NOTE: You should automatically have access to Givebacks if you are identified as an officer of your PTA or you are already in your PTA’s directory as a member.
Logging In for the First Time
- Enter your email address.
- Choose the second option, I need to create a password, and enter your first and last name.
- Check your inbox and click the link in the confirmation email.
- Choose a password.
If you are a PTA leader, you have requested access to Givebacks, and you are still not seeing the Administration options when you log in, please contact us.
If you are a family member and cannot log into your school PTA’s Givebacks site, please contact your school PTA to get your school’s unique Family Join link.
