Submitting Membership Lists and Dues
To participate in PTA programs(like Reflections), qualify for awards, and be eligible for donations and grants, local PTAs must maintain Good Standing with Virginia PTA. Part of these requirements include submitting Membership Lists and Dues by the following dates - November 1, December 1, March 1 and June 1 (per the bylaws).
Every Virginia PTA unit has access to the basic MemberHub plan. If your unit is collecting memberships through MemberHub, there is nothing further you need to do to submit your list, but you will still need to submit your dues payment on time!
This year, even if you are NOT utilizing MemberHub to collect memberships, you can import your membership lists DIRECTLY into MemberHub. This is the preferred method for the 2020/2021 school year. Follow these instructions to import membership lists.
We are also encouraging your PTA to pay membership dues DIRECTLY through MemberHub. If you are new to utilizing this platform, you can easily connect your bank account and send an e-check. For details on how to utilize this feature, review the MemberHub Help Center on this topic
If your PTA has not used MemberHub please contact the state office at (804) 264-1234 and someone will assist you with getting setup so YOUR PTA can benefits from its features. Meanwhile you can submit you dues payment with the document dues remittance form (113 KB) to Virginia PTA, 1027 Wilmer Ave, Richmond VA 23227.
Due to the ongoing increase in printing of, and shipping costs associated with pre-printed membership envelopes Virginia PTA is no longer selling them. Below is a formated sheet that you can use with generic envelopes.
Officer Contact Information
Provide officer contact information to the state office by June 15 to ensure receipt of valuable PTA information. Download and mail to form, or submit online.

Membership awards can be earned for many different reasons. The awards are a great way to show parents in your school how active and successful your PTA is! Some awards are automatically earned and others need to be applied for. Remember - in order to qualify for any membership awards, a PTA unit must be in good standing.
