Virginia PTA 2023-24 Scholarship Program
Virginia PTA is proud to offer a long-standing scholarship program to support the continuing education goals of high school seniors. Eligibility is limited to high school seniors who are members of a local High School PTA/PTSA that is in good standing with Virginia PTA, according to the Standards of Affiliation.
MULTIPLE AWARDS OF $500 IN EACH CATEGORY
- COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
Students enrolled in a four-year academic degree program - TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP
Students enrolled in a two or three year approved technical, vocational, and associate degree program - FINE ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
Students enrolled in school of arts, college of design or institute of the arts degree program - SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Special education students (Identified with a current Individual Education Plan-IEP) entering approved technical, vocational, associate degree or a four-year academic program
LOCAL PTA UNITS AND COUNCILS MAKE A DIFFERENCE
We encourage each local PTA/PTSA unit and all Council PTAs to work with their high school counselors and principals to make students aware of the scholarships available from Virginia PTA.
